Mealtime Mayhem

So I came across a salient snippet from the tenth month of "What to expect the first year." And I quote, "Eating with the average nine- or ten-month old is enough to make one lose one's appetite."

Survey says...

It continues, "There's as much playing with the food as eating it, and it's not unusual for more of it to end up on baby (and his clothes, his high chair, and the family dog who's waiting eagerly below) than in him."

Obviously:

"That's because mealtimes are no longer just for nourishment, but for exploring and discovering as well."

Exploring and discovering:

Our dog always sat right by the highchair, waiting for morsels to fall. Too bad your apartment doesn't allow dogs - it would make cleanup so much easier.

How about meal time in the bath tub... or, my friend naomi used to have naked dinner!
